This relief of cargo worker at the harbor of Ostia and Portus has been plausibly dated to the third century CE, a time when the harbor towns and Rome itself were undergoing significant social, political, cultural, and economic changes.

The relief is currently a part of the collection of the Museo Nazionale Romano alle Terme di Diocleziano (Baths of Diocletian), inv. number 56425.
