Circus Maximus Drawing

Title

Circus Maximus Drawing

Subject

Drawing of the Circus Maximus in Rome

Description

The Circus Maximus provided the model for the majority of Roman circuses. Despite this prestige little of the structure remains today, but this artist rendering shows what it might have looked like. It was the largest circus in the Roman world and had multiple large red granite obelisks adorning the track.
