Over 200 Roman amphitheaters have been found across Europe, Africa, and Asia. Unfourtnantly, many of these are hardly recognizable as amphitheaters anymore as they lie in ruin. This picture shows the modern day ruins of the Amphitheatre in Durres, Albania which was constructed in the second century CE.
